Dario is that the man's name? Who is he? A character from a book, movie, or is it a Roleplay-char, fanart?
How long did you work on the picture?
I think he is hybrid character from few fantasy chars. Though I named him after some episodic character from Tanith Lee book. I use this method of naming characters sometimes, though it's still my OC, referring original name-holder very slightly.
I've started it more than a year ago and pictured him by fits and starts. I dunno, if you meant how much hours it took... about 20, I think.
I find it remarkable, that (even without further information about the person on the drawing) I gave the impression that it was a magical theme.
20 hours. Quite a long time. But it is able to see all the care with which Darios was painted. ^.^

I wanted to write more about the drawing: The image is done very well! The colors looks very harmonious and the bluish light makes everything looks very magical.
